Public Complaint Service is an effort of Investment Coordinating Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BKPM) to implement reform aspiration as stated by Law Number 28 Year 1999 on Clean and Free from Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism Government.

BKPM seeks to develop its officials performance accountability in order to apply demands of reform aspirations. Therefore, government officials are able to take responsibility their duties, functions and powers to public, as the highest state authority. Public participation is expected to be more transparent to optimize social control of state administration in accordance with the law.

Public Complaint Service is expected to conduct social control against the government administration and public services. Public complaints are handled electronically and grouped by the type of aberration, as follows :

  1. Authority abuse
  2. Public service
  3. Employment / work force
  4. Land / Residential
  5. Legal / judicial and human rights
  6. National vigilance
  7. Procedures / regulation
  8. Environment, and
  9. General
