Communication Network (Optical Fiber & Data Access) :

There are 12 towers development target and at the same time the development of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) in the border region of East Kalimantan and North Borneo, after 80 more base stations have been installed in the border region. Blank spot area in this region approaching almost zero, especially after 20,000-30,000 fiber optic cables installed in the Kalimantan region. **

Electricity :

In order to answer the needs of national power, the government announced the construction and infrastructure development in the field of electrical energy through the provision of power generation by 35 GW over the next five years (2015-2019). The total demand for electricity in the entire region of Borneo is 1.87 GW and 0.92 GW of electricity procurement will be handled by the PLN. While the remainder, 0.95 GW will be handled through Independent Power Producer (IPP). Investment in this area is very beneficial considering competitive labor costs in Asia, a successful partnership between investors and PLN last five years and the support of the Government of Indonesia through the State Investment List in 2014. In addition, Indonesia is also supported by an abundance of coal supply, solar energy, hydropower and geothermal resources.
